Steps to Become a Tap Volunteer
1. Tap in & Connect!
Find your chapter and email the chapter's leadership team to express your interest in volunteering. It can be as simple as expressing you are tapping in! If your school does not have an existing Tap chapter, you can join your nearest Tap chapter or apply to start your own chapter!
2. Join Our Network
Once your volunteer registration has been received and processed, your chapter lead will add you to our Tap Initiative Discord, a hub for all our official members.
Here you will receive activities, polls, and event opportunities.
Remember to follow thetapinitiative & your tap chapter on instagram to stay up to date!
3. Receive Assignments & Events
Every month, you will receive an invitation to attend Tap Trips, a chance to volunteer in person with our local partnerships and meet student volunteers from across the Bay Area. Further activities vary by Tap chapter.
4. Submit Hours for Approval
After volunteering, contact your chapter's Tap Team to receive a sign-off or nonprofit details to approve your hours for service logs or awards. Only your Tap Lead or the Directors' Team have the ability to sign-off.
